Is it possible to buy PeerPlays on Bitshares open ledger? I didn't know that! Or is that in the future? I plan to get some PeerPlays but on their site here https://peerplays.com/crowdfund they don't list open ledger as a wallet to use. So I'm confused at the moment. :P
Anyway, I'm kenny-crane on bitshares!
I believe they are going to have their blockchain. So no. But I would think they will have something like open.Peerplay or bitpeerplay.

I did give Bitcoin to the crowdfund so I am IN! The best way to do it, in my opinion is to use the Electrum Wallet, as recommended by @Ash here: https://steemit.com/peerplays/@ash/how-to-effortlessly-join-the-peerplays-crowdfund
It looks like they had been selling PeerPlays on Bitshares but stopped it in December. Those who had bought on Bitshares get 10 PPY tokens for each token they had on Bitshares, if I'm reading the docs correctly. Crowdfunders like me get PPY for $5 a token during Tier 1 which we are still in. This is good to read: http://www.peerplays.com/news/primary_crowdfund/
PeerPlays on Bitshares open ledger is not currently available as it was previously.
PeerPlays will be on its own chain.
I imagine there will be some sort of PEERPLAYS UIA.
There are still PEERPLAY tokens from previous holders like I have in my list of assets which is whitelisted.

No, I have not heard of any update.
LIVENET looked like a cool project and I was ready to invest in it. Even emailed with them once or twice but I was never clear what the price was for the Livenet ICO.
maybe they were not sure about the price and other things at the time , you may try reaching them again and see where they are standing now , it seems like a cool and also a practical project, I myself would use the service if it launches in the future
