BitUSD at Aex.com
Hello steemians!
I have another great news for BitShares today!
One of the exchanges that have recently added BTS to their trading pairs, Aex.com, has opened a new market today - BTC/BitUSD!
Yes, you read it right, instead of using Tether, which is suffering a barrage of bad publicity in a few past days/weeks, they are going to use BitShares' own US dollar-pegged Smartcoin that is backed by BTS.
At the time of writing, the trading volume has surpassed $100,000:
It is a huge step forward for BitShares, as increased adoption of smartcoins leads to the supply dilution of BTS and therefore providing upward pressure on the price.
It is also a great progress for the whole crypto community, as it means moving further away from centralization, shady backstage deals and scams that Tether is alleged to take part in.

The tide is turning towards honest money. bitUSD and bitCNY are risk free and backed by 200% collateral on a blockchain. No shady corporations and sketchy bank accounts, no promises that may or may not be true. Just transparency, speed, scalability and security. China is leading the way but it won't be long before it spreads. Bitshares is the most undervalued crypto on the planet!

Aex.com is the rebrand of btc38 exchange. They got smarter this time around and are using a lot more Bitshares technology - looks like it is working out really well for them and I'd expect to see other exchanges following suit.
