It really can in many places, but still not widely adopted. I mean I can make you a coffee for 1 bitcoin, many places would :)) is just that Starbucks and other major chains have not adopted this yet. Starbucks might be a good start, don’t you think?

Yeah, I saw many Debit Cards already, which you can "Charge" with bitcoin, even had one myself. But it is quite different when paying from your mobile phone's bitcoin or ethereum wallet, for example.
That would be much nicer, than having to first charge your card and then spend from it. Similar to exchanging my bitcoin for cash from another person and then just spending this cash to buy a coffee. Two unnecessary steps.
I mean this technology with Debit Cards is kind of cool as well, but I would like to see something bigger than that. Something like apple pay with your ethereum wallet.

@scottcbussiness, even though crypto is falling now, apps, games and real life uses of crypto is what will bring it back up.

Yeah, me too. Volatility is scary right now. Nevertheless, I see a great benefit in crypto and in Steem as well.

oh i see, yes if this mattered, it would be a great news for crypto, this is an important millage.
If this happens it could spark mass adoption. Having a huge company that is situated all over the globe accepting crypto will be huge!
