How Will We Allow This Technology To Be Used

Coincheck stops support of anonymous cryptocurrencies. The Dood really hopes this isn't a new trend to hit the cyptosphere. We all knew sooner or later the day would come when anonymous coins would come under attack. In this day and age privacy is suspect, and anyone that implements privacy protocols remain suspect as well.

Mastercard also states they would be more than happy to accept "State" backed cryptocurrencies, but not today's anonymous junk. In other words, we like cryptocurrencies, just not the ones we can't control.

Cryptocurrency is a tool to take the power of money away from the banks and government. This puts the power of money back in the hands of the people.

In an age when "identity theft" is at an all time high, cryptocurrency is also the perfect solution to safeguard our private information.

This technology can be used for good or bad. This technology can track our every movement or give us the security of anonymity. Freedom or oppression, now is the time to decide. Future generations will have to live with the decisions we make today. Now is the time to decide how we allow this technology to be used. We can demand freedom, or in the name of safety, give up security and anonymity for a false boogey man.

Thomas Jefferson was once quoted saying, "Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem." I prefer the tumult of liberty to the quiet of servitude.
