If you had invested $1,000 in BITCOIN in 2010, you would have been able to purchase 10,000 BITCOIN.
Those same 10,000 BITCOIN are now worth a whopping $19,500,000..!!

I heard about Bitcoin around this time but never got around to buying it till like $70-$90 dollars.... and only had a few hundred to spend around then, then it started going up so quick it scared me off for a while lol... crazy times!
This is also equal to the price of the first bitcoin purchase. Two pizzas for 10,000 bitcoin. That actually happened on May 22nd, 2010. I wonder if the person who accepted that bitcoin kept them.

Wow! Thats insane. What we would do for a time machine. Good thing is in 8 more years you will be saying in 2017 if you had puchased 1 bitcoin for $1850. It would now be worth $185,000. its far from over. Just starting thanks for the post.

Oh god, I'm not sure that'd be possible. Some analysts are saying $500,000 might be possible by 2030 (if I can remember correctly) but.. that's crazy. I mean I don't want to be the guy saying NEVER will something be possible, but you've got to be insane to be betting on that. Then again, aren't we all?
If just 1% of the cash from off shore tax haven bank accounts, which currently hold estimated 30 trillion dollars of value, if you move just 1% of that into bitcoin you are looking at 2.8 million dollars per bitcoin.
and the worst thing about this is that I thought about putting the grand into btc in 2010, but did not......we only see in retrospect our failures in decision making
