Market Capitalizations of Bitcoin and all Cryptos in an other Perspective
I have found a great overview comparing the market capitalization of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in total with other stocks, such as wealthy people's assets, large corporations' market capitalization or the total money supply.
The overview is from the middle of last year. Bitcoin now has a market capitalization of $140 billion and the combined market capitalization of all crypto currencies is $400 billion, which is equivalent to the market capitalization of Amazon.
Please note that the comparisons are made in volumes of spheres.
I hope Bitcoin will be on the left side in a few years.... 😎

Funny how people mix price with value, BTC doesnt need, to have any "intrinsic" value to be high in MC. Even if so, it doesnt have to be a physical mesurable value. Like religions doesnt have any physical mesurable value. For me its a placed bet and the info-graphic shows me, if it goes up, it can go up huge. No more, no less
crypto as a intity will only grow over the next 5-10 years. some coins will come and some will go however the tech is here to stay. if you do your research and look into your investmetns you will find the usefull products and the trash
Currently I own only Ethereum, Steem, Dash and Tesla Shares. Hope this will be no trash in the future.
the only concern i have in those coins is Dash, i simply can't see a use for it.
my own coins currently are PFR and COSS. i like coins with a platform or profit sharing system :)
Bitcoin, Ripple and Ethereum — now have a combined market capitalization larger than all of Exxon.
That means more money is pumping in and out of these three invisible assets than into a stock that has billions more shares out there. So here we have a multinational company with bona fide hard assets and prime real estate, a company that controls a commodity needed to heat homes and keep the lights on with a lower market cap than three entities less than 10 years old.
