Crypto Adoption Is Gaining Steam with Samsung Annoucement
The reason I decided to hold a good chunk of my crypto for the long-term was for the specific reason of adoption.
Just a fraction of society is involved in crypto. The functionality of it, though better each day is still too difficult for the regular Joe.
Think about that.
Will things stay like this forever? Most likely no.
The Perpetuation of Adoption
As the old saying goes. Rome was not built in a day.
This holds true for any new technology or game changer.
The internet took time to spread. Took time to improve and become user friendly.
Think about it. In 1990 if you were to ask someone about the internet they would have the same response as they do for crypto right now.
Ten years later things were very different and twenty year later everyone is on the web.
Another notch in the "bringing it to the masses" belt for crypto
Samsung, you know the company who supplies like half the phones on the globe announced they will have the "Samsung Blockchain Wallet" on their next phone launch, the Galaxy S10.
It will give users a tutorial and supply wallets for Bitcoin and Ethereum.
This is huge!
We are talking about millions of people having a wallet accessible to them as a default on their new phone.
No having to go download something or worry if you grabbed the right thing. Plus, it creates a comfort level. People not technologically inclined see the apps on their phone as vetted by Samsung and safe to use.
That is alot of exposure that the crypto market is about to get over the coming year!

Yeah...cuz I totally use the apps they bundle on my phone now.
I like that they are supporting crypto more...but...I dunno... If it's a really good app...and integrated with Samsung Pay... Then you could use your phone to pay with crypto anywhere that supports Samsung Pay...which I believe includes my local grocery store actually.
Me either, but all of the "sheep" do. I always have to remind myself that I'm not the majority or the typical end customer.
Exactly! I hold my cryptos because of that, people will sooner or later adopt this tech like they adopted the internet, and once they do we will have a dotcom market all over, yes, we will probably have a huge bubble, everyone will be speaking about it, but once it passes we will see cryptos that will skyrocket like amazon did, like ebay did, like google did, etc...
Exactly, and along with the amazons and googles there will be some pets.com. I'm sure I own a couple of both :-)
I was too young back when the dotcom bubble happened, I know pets.com failed, but don't really know what they were doing, I only know they did a super bowl commercial ahah I don't have that many investments, and I should probably diversify more, but I research the hell out of my cryptos so I feel safer this way, I got like 4 or 5 cryptos

Hope they made it easier to transact in crypto for the average knucklehead like me :-)
I hadn’t seem this. Great news. Seems like we’re seeing many stories like this (ex. like twitter potentially adopting BTC tips via lightening) that will make the public more comfortable with crypto.
Adoption adoption adoption!
What is even better is that it only takes these small steps for more to follow. I also think they will take more steps to increase adoption by integrating these wallets into more payment systems within their ecosystem.

100% there is no way they aren't going to integrate their apps/phones into crypto space....too much available money to be made.
Yeah, that was big news and another validation that crypto will be apart of the Masses soon.
