Let us help Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies to retain their legal tender in India

in #bitcoin7 years ago

The time when most of the people around the globe is concerned about the bitcoin hardfork; In India we are debating over whether bitcoin should be declared as illegal or not. Few days back a Member of the Indian Parliament stated Bitcoin a Ponzi Scheme and raised questions like: WHO IS THE OWNER OF BITCOIN? WHO CONTROLS BITCOINS AND AUTHORIZES IT?

People who are unaware of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology  might find a logic satisfactory to them to believe Bitcoin a Ponzi Scheme, debarring the real meaning of a Ponzi Scheme. So, it's time for us to help the technology to grow.

Few months back when suddenly a demonetization was announced in India and  ₹ 500 and  ₹ 1000 notes were declared of no use and the government was imposing the citizens to opt other ways of transactions instead of cash transactions, several Indians opted Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies which played a part for the Bitcoin price rise in December 2016.

The Digital Assets and Blockchain Foundation of India has started a petition on change.org urging the Finance Minister of India to decide in favour of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Let us help the blockchain technology to grow globally in a lightening speed. Let us contribute our signatures and take part in the history in making.
