Motor Trend article about cryptos! More adoption on the way!

I drove a friend to the dentist for dental surgery the other day and in the waiting room I grabbed a Motor Trend magazine to look at from Nov. 2018.
Inside there was an article about cryptos,
"Tales from the Crypt(o): Blockchain Goes Mobile - Technologue" an opinion piece written by Frank Markus.

It mentions several interesting crypto projects involving the auto industry and transportation industry.
It talks about projects relating to using blockchain tech to track parts during the manufacturing process,

ride sharing,

insurance cost based on the amount of driving you do,

a way of verifying a vehicle history such as accident records and odometer readings

and even a way for self driving car owners to be paid in crypto for "getting out of the way" of other self driving cars whose owners are in a hurry and are willing to pay in crypto to cut ahead.

It name-drops blockchains like Ethereum, Mobius and VeChain among others in conjunction with many big name auto makers like Porche, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Toyota.

It mentions MIT Labs and Linux's Hyperledger project as well.

I have been staying away from mainstream media for a while so this has prompted me to keep my eyes open for more instances of blockchain tech information being presented to audiences that may not have any exposure to it.

Check it out, it's a quick read, this post is not so much about the article but the fact that the article was written and presented in another place where someone who may not be aware of cryptos might come across it.
