RE: Why Bitcoin is Perfect for Most First-Time Investors

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Our brains are thought to think in images (Wittgenstein). Incremental changes are terrible to be processed by our intuition. (Kahneman/Tversky). Initially we do the things which require the least amount of effort in order to fullfill needs, habit formation. Habits are created by repetition, so most are taught by our parents and later in life our peers and close friends. (Duhigg)

People who have overcome this easy path, have a clear edge over the mass in this arena of finance. We used to be taught our brains did have a very small plasticity rate. However the last 10 years we came to the opposite conclusion, its just our preception of time is the problem. We like instant resolutions, because our brain is a survival mechanism formed by 2.5 million years of evolution(Levitin and Harari).

Its a sad fact that even the ones we love, will not change soon. It can cause all kinds of anxieties. Not to mention your own anxiety when your are drained and you have no glucose enough left to think straight (typically in the evening or night). I struggle with this thought. Anyone with strategies to coop with this problem in the short run?
