The McAfee Mining Pool revealed its revenues and plans

MGT Capital Investments (MGTI), led by former antivirus magnate John McAfee, disclosed its earnings from mining. In the recent annual report of the company prepared for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), MGTI positions itself as one of the largest mining companies in the US. According to the report, MGTI produces 100 bitcoin per month and is developing a mining pool called "Macpool".

   

Over the past year, MGTI has announced several strategic projects in the field of network security and crypto currency. MGTI seeks to acquire a huge portfolio of cyber technologies, and mining bitcoin is part of this plan. Last October, MGT Capital Investments announced its intention to cooperate with the Chinese company Bitmain, as both firms plan to create more mining enterprises in the US.
   

"MGTI is increasing its capacity in the field of mining. The company pool in the state of Washington produces about 100 bitcoin per month, and is considered one of the largest miners in the US. In addition, MGTI is actively negotiating with potential financial partners to significantly increase production, "the company's annual report to the SEC said.
    

According to McAfee, Macpool will be available to the public in the second half of 2017 and will enable investors to participate in the industry of crypto currency mining.

The SEC report contains hundreds of pages detailing the income of MGTI over the past year, patent stocks, ownership of devices and much more.  Since the receipt of the first bitcoins in September 2016, the hasht of MGTI's mining operations has grown to about 5.0 PH / s.
