How to speed up bitcoin transaction confirmation time for free.
Memory pool of bitcoin transactions gets bigger and bigger, which makes transactions time unpredictably long. For me, as a Steem user it is not a big problem, but a couple days ago I needed to transfer some bitcoin and it got stuck for a three days, because transaction amount was wrongly calculated by me and my blockchain.info wallet.
In searching for the solution of my problem if found nice service, which allows to make the chances of conformations bigger with minimum efforts.
Mining pull ViaBTC has a "Transaction Accelerator". Basically it is a form, where you put your bitcoin transaction id.

ViaBTC will prioritize your transaction to include in the next block they mine. They have about 7% of all hashing power, so you can expect what your transaction will be confirmed during the day.
After my transaction id was submitted it got confirmed in 4 hours. Before that it was stuck for 3 days and who knows how much more it could take.

Here's a trick to accelerate bitcoin transactions: don't use bitcoin, use an altcoin 😑
