Steemit Experiences DDoS Attacks

A DDoS attack uses comprised computers to overwhelm a web service’s servers. By flooding a service’s servers with messages, connection requests, and malformed data, an attacker can overwhelm a website’s servers and force it to shut down, denying service to legitimate users.

Interesting article about how Steemit was DDoS attacked. I didn't even know what a DDoS attack was until reading this article, still not an expert on it, lol. Anyway the price of Steem has been doing a lot better the last few weeks, I think we bottomed in the low $.20s and have been moving up pretty regularly ever sense. Is anyone reading this buying more at these prices....?
