Every year, US citizens spend north of $70 billion on state lottery tickets. That’s almost $8 billion more than the entire market cap of Bitcoin.

Really interesting article showing how Americans spend more on lottery tickets than the whole bitcoin market is worth. Really puts it in perspective. I don't play the lottery but the peole that do should be buying bitcoin as their lottery ticket, it has a lot better chance of paying off...
