Mark Zuckerberg announces that Facebook is exploring how to use cryptocurrencies

The CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, said he will study cryptocurrencies in 2018. The objective is part of his annual personal challenge, focused on solving the problems of the social network. The head of Facebook Messenger, David Marcus, joins the board of directors of the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange

The founder and CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, has stated that one of the elements of his personal challenge for this year will be to study cryptocurrencies and explore how they could be used in the social network.

Personally, it is a very wise move by Mr. Zuckerberg to adopt cryptocurrencies and take advantage of their use for the good of the community. Recall that Facebook has 1.94 billion active users per month, according to a census in March 2017. This would encourage the use and adoption of cryptocurrencies in many of the people who use this social network.
