Not sure, but I feel like bitcoin will either be worth a lot more in 2 years or a lot less.

Well, jondoe, that is a very happy thought! All gods great & small witness I could sure use some prosperity in my life. Times are brutally hard here in Argentina right now, with every sign that they will get worse before they get better.
This is my new home, for better or for worse, and I'm not leaving. Heck, I can't afford the ticket at this point. I love Argentina very much, and I respect the Argentine people deeply.
It will be interesting to see whether the continuing decline into worthlessness of the Argentine peso leads to an increase in crypto activity here. Certainly crypto would seem to be one answer. The government, such as it is, is propping up the peso desperately right now because they have the G-20 coming up in two weeks. But they've only managed to halt its slide by jacking up the prime interest rate to 60-70% and throwing the economy into recession. That cannot last.

The website 99bitcoins just issued their weekly report, in which Nate Martin says that localbitcoins in Venezuela is now trading over 1000 BTC per week. Given that Argentina is potentially in danger of becoming the next Venezuela, (the Wall Street heavyweights have placed us in the same risk-to-invest category), this may perhaps augur an increased interest in Bitcoin here.
Is that good news for bitcoin?
Well, jondoe, I would say that anything which serves to increase the actual use of BTC for everyday transactions is good for the whole crypto world. After all, it was just yesterday we were lamenting the fact that crypto isn't used much for such purposes.
Yes that is a good point. Even if it just used as a store of value, and a cross-border money transfer device, it still has tremendous use-case.
