Vision for Bitcoin

It is easy to get rapped up in all the drama and volatility in the cryptocurrency space but at some point it is important to dig deep into the technology and understand direction. I'm rather new to the space but very excited to catch up on the past accomplishments. I read the Satoshi Nakamoto white paper this evening and very impressed on how brief he is in his explanation. I admit that I don't understand everything he said but the message is quite simple. Eliminating the middleman (banks) for transfer of value will be beneficial to both parties. Look at how much Bitcoin as growth since this paper came out in 2008!
