@ivanli great vid thanks. We learned when I was teaching at a university in Australia and a large number of East Asian students started to study with us that in fact copying is considered good academics in Asia.
A lot of smart students were failing their assignments because of plagiarism so we had to spend time inducting them into the western approach to learning.
It's really amazing man... great type of information can achieve.👍
Hi @ivanli, great show as always! Regarding your question about the Chinese tendency to copying, i believe this is deeply rooted in east asian culture. It is the way you learn, by observing what your teacher/elder/master does and try repeating it. Other way you would never be able to draw thousands of different characters.... So copying might in fact be a form of honoring the original work.
