Hello everybody! Today, the crypto-market continues to play an already formed bearish trend. Bitcoin's price, after continuing rising, has declined again. Now, the cost of 1 BTC is ~$7 417. As you remember, the current prices fluctuations are due to the actions on the BitMEX exchange, where short-term contracts ($180 million cost in total) were closed for 20 minutes on July 17.

Some experts believe that Bitcoin will now look for a new bottom; when this happens, no one knows for sure. Large volumes can change too rapidly. For a few days Bitcoin were holding at $7,400, and then has fallen back by 1.7% to $7,320. At this time, we see an unsteady reversal, which can be completed with the new falling in prices.

📌 IBM confirms adoption of Stellar [XLM]

As it became known, Bridget van Kralingen (IBM) confirmed that Stellar's blockchain is currently used by several major banks. More adoption of cryptocurrency and technology is excellent; although maybe we want to feel it even closer than the banks do it actually.

However, there is no official information on the use of Stellar yet. Therefore, it is possible to take news and announcements of previous months as a basis (to make a guess), although this may not give accurate results. Among the countries using XLM, there were also listed: New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asian islands and Great Britain.

At the moment, the main using of Stellar is to make cross-border payments in real time. This technology, like other related projects, has already been tested by several companies.

Political Action Committees in the US (PAC) are quite important institute, so the news requires to be explored more. These committees are pools of organizations with common political objectives; they have the right to co-finance campaign candidates for public office, to participate in actions regarding legislation. The creation of electoral initiatives can also be the main thing in this sense.

It is hoped that the formation of this association will positively affect the industry as a whole (at the local or general level). Earlier, Coinbase had already initiated a cooperation in the are of institutional trade.

Previously, SEC (US Securities and Exchange Commission) announced that further research on the topic of regulation of cryptocurrencies will continue. Over the past few months, the market has been closely monitoring how things are going on this issue.

Jay Clayton, SEC chairman, noticed:

“I agree that promoting greater transparency in order interaction, matching, and execution will help empower investors and their intermediaries to find those trading venues that best meet their trading and investing objectives”.

Perhaps with the evolving of the cryptocurrency industry, including legislative regulation, and general views of public persons on the blockchain, Coinbase and other big (and not so) players will have more opportunities to develop the market and offer their services.

Now we know about the initiative to get SEC license from Coinbase and Circle (purchased Poloniex). The main thing is that ICO tokens are almost always considered as securities, so many companies may face limitations in their activities in the future.
