Bitcoin Index

We've all heard of the Big Mac Index, which was created by The Economist in 1986 to show the relative purchasing powers of various currencies expressed in terms of how much it cost to buy one Big Mac. You can check out the latest Big Mac Index at the following link:

Well I thought this index should be updated to demonstrate how much one Bitcoin is worth and so based on an exchange rate of 1 BTC to $2602.4686 here are the latest figures:

I have to apologise for the screenshot as I haven't mastered markdown yet. As you will see from the figures, if you lived in Russia 🇷🇺 you could buy 1141 Big Macs for one Bitcoin! If you had a way of keeping them fresh, this would allow you to eat a Big Mac every day until 4th September 2020, by which time you could probably buy a MacDonalds franchise itself for one Bitcoin!

I have a feeling Big Macs have so many additives you might not need to worry too much about keeping them fresh!

You're probably right @catonwheels

Great post my friend! I love the photos
