We all know there is a general negativity toward crypto by governements and large banks. It is very threatening. We also know that the news media is ignorant at best, possibly extremely biased when it comes to crypto. However, there is a lot of speculation going on and also a lot of overvalues assets. So a lot of this dip was bound to happen anyway. With the last two corrections before this big dip, it seemed to me that the market recovered far too quickly. Maybe the consolidation period will be long enough this time.
However, I really don't think that we need that long of a reset period, given that, there are really not very many people in this market, so growth that may seem exponential if you look at the charts, is actually just proportional to the new money being invested. If the new money is get rich quick money, we will see big corrections like this, if it is money based on an understanding of the underlying tech, well, that is the best case scenario.
