Yea felt the same way but that little bit I got from Binance compelled me to take a look. Interesting but I'll wait for it to deflate first.
NEO, on the other hand, looking good and about to have a bunch of project launch on its platform. And you're right it's here (like Steem too!).
I have this annoying tendency to not jump onto things fast enough. I signed up on Binance too late for the free coins, missed out on some TRON and QTUM that would've been nice. Then I hesitated too long with Kucoin and missed out on some DeepBrainChain last week. Kinda wanted that too, even though it was a tiny batch. These things have a weird tendency to go 10x!
My philosophy is buy first and ask questions later lol
