Yes the Nasdaq was hacked back in 2011, and yes it can happen again.

Every time you hear about a Crypto Exchange getting hacked people say "Thats why I invest is stocks, they don't get hacked". Well, yes they do!

(Oh and trying to compare someones account getting hacked on an exchange is not a fair comparison, its like saying that if your Facebook account gets hacked then all of Faceboock was hacked.

Nasdaq hack went down, and they are not even sure how the Malware got in:

Not only has the Nasdaq been hacked, which is like an exchange hack, but also many of the financial institutions that invest and store your money for you have been hacked like Jamie Dimon's precious JP Morgan Chase:

The people who track your credit have been hacked:

So whats my point? Nothing is safe from hacks, not completely, what matters is how strong their security is and how they respond to attacks. Binance is setting the example:

They tried to attack Binance, but they got owned, Binance ended up taking them for their money.
