Apr 19th Weekly Terracoin Update – 2000

Yesterday was Terracoin’s blockchains 2000-day anniversary. TRC has been alive and running for 2000 days, and from what we can figure out we are the 6th oldest blockchain still in operation!

What does that mean? It means we are here to stay! We won’t exit out and leave investors holding the bag. We are always going to be here working on improvements to Terracoin, our infrastructure and helping the world.

Which leads me to my first announcement.

We have started work on the iOS and Android versions of our wallet. Because of our explorer insight(https://insight.terracoin.io/) neither of these apps will need to download the blockchain but will function just as a normal computer wallet does without the blockchain sync.
This opens a whole new group of users and possible community members to being able to use TRC with ease.

The second announcement I wanted to make is that our new website is now only a few weeks away before release. This website will have more information about what Terracoin is, and what we are trying to do with our TRC Foundation masternodes that donate to help the world.

Next, testing of the 0.12.3b4 version of the wallet has passed all Travis tests and now we are onto the “really try to break it” stage of testing, which is my favorite part of testing. This version will have all of Dash’s 0.12.2.3 code and improvements we have made, including in wallet decentralized governance proposal creation. I have used it on the testnet, and it is a breeze. In the mean time masternode owners can use our Services(https://services.terracoin.io/) site to generate proposal code. The voting cycle(https://services.terracoin.io/superblocks) ends in about 9 days so get in your discoveries(https://services.terracoin.io/discoveries) now for the next voting round! New proposal(https://services.terracoin.io/budget) submissions start May 1st!

We have cleaned it up recently and we always like new suggestions for coin features. No one person can keep up with all the changes in the cryptoworld, so we need every community member to put in their ideas.
