Bitcoin has plan to deliver 21M coin for 100 yr time frame . But this kind of fork updates ! I dont think that 21M limitation stays long at all, not with this kind of popularity.

I don't plan on selling off my b2x immediately. I'm going to see how it works out. I think it's still a viable option and if the transactions are cheaper then I feel like more people will adopt it... Of course there will need to be more wallet support as well so it will be some time before we can see the full potential of b2x.

This lack of replay protection makes this fork different from what happened with bitcoin cash & possibly bitcoin gold. In this case, unlike before, I prefer to let an exchange, hopefully a trusted one that has previously displayed enough technical expertise, handle the Segwit2x forking for me. My own technical expertise is not good enough to do this myself in my own wallet (in this case, electrum). So the question now is choosing the right exchange...
