This makes me sick... To think just 2 weeks ago I had 5 btc in Bitfinex I would have been so pissed. Glad I moved it to Polo. But are we really safe? Who knows.... Exchanges are for trading not storing......
110% Exchanges trade only not storing. I think this will be the lesson that gets everybody onboard to only keep miniscule amounts of Bitcoin on exchanges for trades only, if that, and any significant amounts should ALWAYS be kept in your own wallet with your own private keys. What happened at Bitfinex is disgusting. Disgraceful.
