Best thing to do is get a wallet than u can put offline and make sure that YOU are storing your private keys securely.
Get a few usb drives, save the keys on there, spread them out around your house (some hidden, maybe even one at mom's house)
When your vopying the private keys make sure that your computer is offline during the process. there are youtube videos that will walk you through the process

cool, thanks! any offline wallets you recommend? i run linux, and i can run jaxx or electrum. i hear jaxx got hacked not too long ago tho.
I wouldn't recommend jax, it's a hot wallet. So something you should use to have coins on you to but stuff in the moment.

Jaxx is a hot wallet, meaning it isn't as secure as most. Its made to be easily used to buy stuff.
So you should only move coins to a hot when you need to walk with crypto to use right now.
Because in order to make the wallet easy to use for many transactions, they needed to lower the security.
