Tokens reach Sports Fans
It seems that some companies have sold their "blockchain" to football clubs and other athletes with the aim of improving the experience of their fans.
some of the last news are:
The PSG fan token (FTO) will allow fans to engage with the Club through mobile voting and polling platforms. Token owners will also be granted access to exclusive fan rewards, content and experiences.
This project is on Ethereum. Socios.com is powered by the chiliZ token ($CHZ), an ERC20 utility token on the Ethereum blockchain.
The personalized token will allow Caroline to get closer to her fans, selling exclusive products related to the tennis player, as well as facilities to buy tickets for events where Wozniacki is present
NFL Players Association, has announced a partnership with a blockchain startup that will allow its players to host content and earn revenue through the decentralized platform.
This last seems the only decentralized project but just for NFL players ... annoying?
The rest of projects seems pretty centralized IMO... so why a "blockchain"?
