More importantly, if you appreciated the post (as your words seem to indicate), you might want to consider upvoting - this is the intended mechanics of the platform - you tell me that you appreciated the post with words but the platform isn't parsing your english - Steemit only looks at what you upvoted.
You have a certain amount of voting power which is regenerated to 100% in time. Once it's at 100% it doesn't go up any further. Not using your VP to signal to Steemit that you liked a post when the VP is maxxed out (as it is in your case) is basically a wasted opportunity ...
