The white-backed woodpecker (Dendrocopos leucotos) , Female.

Strange, but I saw them more than Great Spotted Woodpeckers.

I always met them singly.
The size is slightly smaller than a great spotted woodpecker. And also, males have a red cap on the entire head.

Honestly, I do not understand how they find insects in the trees in the winter.
And yet, it seemed to me that these birds are absolutely fearless. They do not care that I was near a tree.
