Yes, redpolls again. We have a lot of them in the forest. They fly in large flocks. They can be recognized even in flight, their white belly.

Look at this fluffy shorts!

And this is redpoll male. Florid, rosy. Like strawberry ice cream!

He saw me and looked with suspicion. Did not understand what I'm doing here :)
Probably, people do not exist here, and he can be the first to see a man. Although I doubt, because they sometimes fly into the city.

Great photos @ratel!

I like the snow on the branch in the first shot :) I hear it's cold in Siberia this time of year ;) That must be what makes Siberians (birds included) so hardy! :)

I thought the girl was a boy ;) now I know better (:

The last pic does show a very suspicious look on that redpole!

Thanks!
You know, in Siberia, the weather is unpredictable. Yes, this winter was very cold. almost all of January, on average, it was -25 and -35 degrees. But in the north of the region it was -50.
The year before last, winter was warm. In general, we have different winter :)

I do not know how the birds survive in this weather! I can understand the city birds, and those forests birds that fly into the city. They spend the night in attics of houses, cellars, garages and other buildings. People, including me, feed them, install feeders. But how do forest birds survive? There are no warm houses, they probably hide in the cold hollows of trees.

Нравится мне этот птах! Ощущение, будто случайно влез в каплю краски, зацепившуюся за ветку во время покраски забора. Или будто вишневый сок капнул :-)))

Сочный птиц )))

Воображули)))
