Cedar Waxwing
Hello Steemians
Easily recognized, with the black mask, crown, and yellow
on the tip of the tail. Some lack the orange on the tip of their
wings.
Found below the 60th parallel, as far south as Central America.
They are being seen more often in urban settings due to....
!
the use of ornamental berries in landscaping.
To attract them to your backyard a platform feeder with
fruit works best, or plant species as dogwood, serviceberry,
cedar, juniper, hawthorn, and winterberry.
