Found mostly in Eastern North America and rarer in the west.
Their migration is still a mystery, some years they migrate
and sometimes they stay and spend the Winter.
The pigment in their feathers is actually melanin, which is brown.
The blue is a result of light passing through modified cells
on the surface of the feathers.
