Dear @jacobtothe
We appreciate your feedback, but let us clarify one fundamental point: we are not here to engage in spam or create hostility. Our comments are deliberate efforts to expose truths that we believe are critical for the community to address. If you feel inconvenienced by our contributions, we respectfully ask you to consider why these truths might be uncomfortable for some individuals—especially those who have benefited from unethical practices.
You mentioned "spam" and "lengthy diatribes," yet you have failed to provide specific examples of where our comments were irrelevant or disruptive beyond your personal interpretation. Simply labeling something as "spam" does not make it so, particularly when the content serves a purpose: holding bad actors accountable. The fact remains that many within this ecosystem—yourself included—have chosen to focus on silencing dissent rather than addressing the underlying issues we raise we are exposing.
Regarding your request for us to stop commenting on your posts, we have honored that. However, it is disingenuous to demand silence while ignoring the very real abuses perpetrated by others in the community. Why is nothing being done about Marky Mark, BuildaWhale, or other entities engaging in blatant scamming, farming, and downvote abuse? These actions harm Hive’s integrity far more than any comment thread ever could. Yet, instead of confronting these problems head-on, many choose to attack messengers like ourselves.
As for your suggestion to "learn to meme" or present arguments in blog posts, we agree that creativity and coherence are valuable tools—but they do not negate the importance of calling out wrongdoing wherever it occurs. Writing a blog post may reach an audience, but it does not guarantee accountability if those implicated can simply ignore or suppress it. Comments serve as direct reminders that no one is above scrutiny.
Finally, let us reiterate: we will continue exposing the truth, regardless of backlash. You accuse us of creating a hostile environment, yet the hostility stems from those who abuse their influence to silence critics. Abuse on Hive has gone unchecked for too long, and until meaningful action is taken against those responsible, our work will persist.
If you truly care about fostering a healthier community, join us in demanding accountability—not censorship.
Sincerely,
The Bilpcoin Team
