GIVE HIM THE POWER AND KNOW IF HE'LL STILL BE HUMBLE

Good Character is very vital. It's a good human attribute that everyone is expected to possess in dealing with people. Knowing how to manage power is very important, believe me!. A good character is better than anything in this world.

I've met alot of people with great content of character and here is a thing. When I see such people because they are not easy to come by; I appreciate them.

Some people fake this things though. That's probably why Abraham Lincoln once said that:

Nearly all man can stand adversity, but if you want to test the a man's character, give him power.

I've come to discover this as no fallacy. There are people who a little taste of power swallows up their humility, they become puffed twice their size. For real, it's rare to see such people these days being humble. I encounter people like this like almost everyday. Anytime you give them a little spot, they start demanding for the whole spotlight. Who told them life works like that?

Knowledge will give you power but character will earn you respect

When I see leaders especially the political leaders who misuse power given to them, I feel bad because this people come with mouth-watering offers to the masses, forming all nice, sweet and down-to-earth that you'll smell foul.

Once you give them power, they change to become someone you never dreamt of. If only leaders can start seeing leadership as a platform where they can help the masses grow by proffering and providing better means to make their lives better. Then, you distinguishing themselves and have enough reason to puff their chest.

I want to see a tomorrow where people won't let things of the world make them feel they have so much power because no matter the kinda power we may possess, we can never have power over our own lives. The only way you can distinguish a good man from the others is when you give him power and he still behaves humble as he used to be.

The world is enough place to humble anybody. Any leader who keeps to his words earns himself all the respect that money cannot buy. You can't buy virtue, and nothing is as precious as it. It earns you trust, respect and happiness. People can't just stop talking about you when you're good.
