Scandinavia is often associated with its magnificent fjords formed by Pleistocene glaciers. It is an association of gorgeous landscapes – there are sharp cliffs, oval valleys left by glacial tongues, and hilly terrains interspersed with rich flora. Here, visitors participate in boar cruises that allow them to view the spectacular normads, villagers, and the dramatic rocky landscapes that form the fjord.
The mountains at Scandinavia’s borders are steep enough to be developed for mountain hiking and have steep cliffs. Roads lead from the valleys through hilly pastures and alpine meadows, allowing one to have a scenic view at sunrise and sunset. When winter sets in, the mountains are well sought after by skiers and snowboarders looking for mountains to climb.
Such a distinct ecosystem accommodates plenty of animals where one can even see playful seals, eagles or even friendly whales. The beauty of the Scandinavian fjords is not only about impressive views but an animal lovers paradise that will forever be etched in the mind of its visitors.
