Late report on Oktoberfest 2018

wanted to write this post for a few days already. Almost 2 weeks ago the 185 Oktoberfest has finished. This year I went only once and that with my dad because he really wanted to spend a few hours with me at Oktoberfest this year.
We left the ladies at home and left on a Friday lunchtime. The weather was especially nice, sunny and warm.

wollte schon seit ein paar Tage dieses Beitrag erfassen. Vor fast 2 Wochen ist das 185 Oktoberfest beendet worden. Dieses Jahr war ich nur einmal und das mit meinem Vater weil er wollte unbedingt mit mir auch dieses Jahr ein paar Stunden auf Oktoberfest verbringen.
Wir haben die Damen zuhause gelassen und sind an einem Freitag Mittag gegangen. Das Wetter war besonders schön, sonnig und warm.

It was not as busy as in the other years. And with full I mean that you had no more space. Maybe because it was not the time when it's normally full.
We were on the Friday before the Italian weekend, where it is really full. It's not my favorite weekend because it gets very loud most of the time.

Es war nicht so voll wie in den anderen Jahren. Und mit voll meine ich das man kein Platz mehr hatte. Vielleicht weil es nicht die Zeit war wo es voll normalerweise ist.
Wir waren an dem Freitag vor dem Italiener Wochenende, wo es richtig voll ist. Ist auch nicht mein Lieblings Wochenende von allen weil es wird sehr laut meistens.

Wir hatten ein bisschen Bier...
...and of course a pork knuckle. WIthout this, Oktoberfest is not real for me.
...und natürlich eine Schweinshaxe. Ohne das würde es für mich kein Oktoberfest sein.
We were also in a couple of tents inside.
The mood was good as always, people were dancing and enjoying life. That's what I like most about Oktoberfest.

Wir waren auch in ein paar Zelten drinnen.
Die Stimmung war wie immer gut, Leute die tanzten und Freude am Leben hatten. Das mag ich an Oktoberfest am meisten.

We also seen a beer wagon. In the evening, when I usually go, they are already gone.

Wir hatten auch ein Bierwagen erwischt. Abends, wenn ich normalerweise gehe, sind die schon längst nicht mehr da.
