About the upcoming contest "Miss Syktyvkar 2017"

Very soon, namely on December 9, we will know the name «Miss Syktyvkar 2017».

Now the participants are actively preparing for the finals, where they will be: defile in bathing suits, going out in evening dresses, take part in intellectual and creative competitions. The casting of the modeling agency «Premier’s Models» among the girls was held in Syktyvkar in October: the jury selected 15 participants from more than 20 candidates.

All of them fit the standards of the world of beauty, have a height of not less than 170 cm, well-built figure and posture. It is appearance that will become their main weapon on the show, where the winner will be determined. Within two months of training, the girls practiced the skills of models and actively participated in the social life of the city.

We managed to communicate with several contest participants and find out how their preparations are going, what they expect from the victory and what they dream about!

Arina Perevertten

— Arina! How is your preparation for the contest?

— All perfectly! Every day, defile, meetings with the director, rehearsals, we prepare creative performances, we also leave for the shooting.

-What is the most difficult for you in preparing for this contest?

— The most difficult is perhaps to set yourself morally! We are very worried… We have a great responsibility!

-How do you think, how will your life change after this contest?

-I think that I will feel more confident on the stage after the contest, and in general — in life.

Alexandra Senner

-Alexandra, tell us, how is your competition going?

-This is the first time I participated in such a contest, I do not feel a special experience so far, but the confidence with each passing day appears more and more in itself. Every day we have meetings, rehearsals and preparations for the finals.

-What is the most difficult for you in preparing for this contest?

-Certain overcoming of my uncertainty, I do not know why it happened, but in my head there are a lot of complexes, and if you do not believe in yourself, then every spectator will feel it on the podium. For me, the most difficult thing is to go out with confidence and pass it to the jury and to everyone who will sit in the hall.

Yaroslava Kurbatova

-Yaroslava, how do you think, how will your life change after this contest?

-It will change for the better. As I started participating in the contest, everything began to change very much. Starting from changes in yourself, ending with a communication with people.

-Do you have specific goals that you want to implement after participating in this competition? Do you plan to participate in beauty contests?

-There are some goals that I will keep secret for now. I think that it will turn out to be realized. And Yes, I think it’s worth toparticipate once again .

— Do you have a dream?

-I have a dream, I really want to visit New York and Rio de Janeiro.
