Sally Lightfoot Sea Crab
So I had to find a proper spot to take some pics of this beautiful sea crab. This sea crab is mostly found playing on the beach rock, and the long legs help them run faster soon they sensed something was not right. Before they reached the hideout, I made quick approach to take some pictures while being in my sight. It is likely seen another type of Asian sally lightfoot crabs that is easily recognizable. Its scientific name is Grapsus grapsus. Frequently seen on the beach and also one of the most common animals on the Islands. The sally lightfoot crabs are colorful and fascinating creatures. Sally Lightfoot crab has n extremely generalist diet, feeding on anything from sea lion placenta to other crabs.
Crabs are decapod crustaceans of the infraorder Brachyura, which typically have a very short projecting "tail" (abdomen) (Greek: βραχύς, romanized: brachys = short, οὐρά / οura = tail), usually hidden entirely under the thorax.source
