If we think about those days arround eighty years ago it was magnificent job only possible by Christian missionaries. You have done justice in describing the school details with beautiful photos. I'm also pleased to see the maintainance of building in neat and clean condition. We also have similar schools created by Christian missionaries in our country. But British destroyed our traditional Gurukul way of learning. That was major breakdown of our traditional academic system.
Thanks so much for taking time to read my post. I have never come across the Gurukul before. Can you please share more light on that ....
Though we also had our traditional way of education, Western education came in it's colour and I appreciate it from my end.
In short in the Gurukul system students are supposed to stay at boarding school of Guru where all instructions were given orally and generations after generations were taught by words of mouth known as parampara.
Actually there are no script for Upanishads and Vedanta. I'll make a full post on it whenever possible.
I am anticipating this. I would prefer you make a critique on both
