Most of the land in this city is railway land. People are employed around the railway station. Lalmonirhat Running Shed is among these railway establishments.

Lalmonirhat Running Shed is a running shed located next to Lalmonirhat station where loco engines are repaired and this shed is operated by a small number of people.All the trains running on the Lalmonirhat Running Set, including Lalmonirhat to Dhaka, Lalmonirhat to Burimari, and Lalmonirhat to Parbatipur, have engines or locomotives.

In this running shed, along with locomotive repairs, cranes are maintained and repaired. These cranes were made during the British period. These cranes were brought from Japan to Bangladesh during the British period. These cranes came to Bangladesh in 1966.

The locomotives of Lalmonirhat Running Shed are rescued by this crane if they ever meet with an accident, but this shed is run by a small number of people. The Lalmoni Express runs from Lalmonirhat to Dhaka and the Burimari Express runs from Burimari to Dhaka and the Lalmoni Local runs from Parbatipur and the Santahar Local runs from Santahar to Kurigram Express. The engines of the locomotive shed are also provided from the locomotive shed.The oldest shed is Lalmonirhat Running, but it is a symbol of pride in the railway arena.I really like the shed in the natural environment.
