Dodgers blank Braves in NLDS

The Los Angeles Dodgers he Atlanta Braves by a score of 6-0. Hyun-Jin Ryu pitched magnificient ball going seven strong innings giving up only four hits all singles and no runs . Joc Pederson started the Dodgers scoring with a lead off homer in the first inning with no runners aboard. Max Muncey continued the onslaught with a long shot to right center field with two runners aboard via walks , to make the score 4-0. The Dodgers led the national league with 235 home runs during the regular season and tonight was not any different. Kiki Hernandez finished the home run barrage with a mamouth home run to the left center field bleachers. The Dodgers got their other run in the eight inning on a sacrifice fly by pinch hitter David Freese. The Dodgers relief pitchers pitched the final two innings to complete the shutout. With Caleb Ferguson going one inning , Alex Wood going two-thirds of an inning and giving up two hits, and Dan Fioro pitching the final one-third for the comeplete shutout. Hyun- Jin Ryu missed three and a half months with a strained groin and didn't return until Aug. 15 and he pitched great ball since posting a 1.88 ERA.
