This is a bit bittersweet for me given his time with the Tigers. I am pretty sure we picked him up as a prospect and have given him the opportunity to grow into what he is today. It is sad how many former Tigers have moved on to greater success in other clubs.
That's how I usually feel with the Reds. It's like we are the minor league team for them to go on to do great things elsewhere. I could easily get spoiled watching the Reds spend money like this.
No kidding. We have a minor league team in the town I grew up in and it is always fun to go and watch games there.
