Though there are a lot of beautiful places in Bangladesh, tourist sites are not overcrowded here. People of local areas especially outside of Dhaka city get curious when they see any tourist in their village or region. Local people always welcome foreign tourist from any country and try to help them at their best. But it is really beautiful...!
1. Beautiful Bangladesh: Sundarban.
Sundarban is the world’s largest mangrove forest. It is one of the beautiful natural wonders of the whole world and world heritage site recognized by UNESCO in 1997. The Sundarban is an extensive forest along with the coastal region of the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh and India. It is related to Padma, Meghna and Brahmaputra river basins of Beautiful Bangladesh. The area of this forest extends across Khulna, Satkhira, and Bagerhat districts of Bangladesh.
Sundarban area also includes South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas districts of India. The area of this coastal mangrove forest is approximately 10,000 sq km long. Out of 10,000 sq km approximately Bangladesh got 6,000 sq km in the southern part of several districts and the rest approximately 4,000 sq km got by India.

2. Beautiful Bangladesh: Kuakata.
Kuakata is situated in the southeastern part of Beautiful Bangladesh. It is located in Kalapara Upazila of Patuakhali District of Bangladesh and about 320 KM (200 mi) south of Dhaka city. It is popular with the tourist because of its panoramic white sandy sea beach. Kuakata is famous as the second tourist destination in Beautiful Bangladesh. The length of the white sandy beach is 18 kilometers long and also 3 kilometers wide.
The white sandy beach of kuakata has gentle slopes towards the Bay of Bengal which you will see when you will go there. This is another package of natural beauty. While staying or traveling in the Kuakata you could enjoy the view of both sunrise and sunset over the Bay of Bengal which you will not get in any other tourist spot in Beautiful Bangladesh.

Most of the Hindu and Buddhist communities of Bangladesh live in Kuakata. Kuakata is known as Shagor Kannya or Daughter of Ocean by the local people. Kuakata is also famous as the harbor for migratory winter birds which come from different countries in the world. 3. Beautiful Bangladesh: Cox’s Bazar.
Cox’s Bazar sea beach is the world’s largest sea beach and unbroken sandy beach. The length of this unbroken sandy beach is 125 km long. The beach has a gentle slope into the sea. Cox’s Bazar is located in the South Eastern part of Bangladesh along the Bay of Bengal. Not only for tourists but also for local people of Bangladesh Cox’s Bazar is most popular than other places of Bangladesh. The reason behind its popularity is the long natural sandy beach. The beach is the perfect place for relaxing when you get tired of responsibilities and city life or after a long trip. You can also visit the wholesale fish market here while visiting Cox’s Bazar.
There are many 3 star and 5 star hotels and resorts in the Cox’s Bazar which provide the exclusive beachside place for the tourist. Tourists who stay in other hotels can come to visit the Laboni beach which is closest to the Cox’s Bazar town.

There are many places in the Cox’s Bazar near the town which you can easily visit from town center or your hotel. Some of these places are Himchari National Park, Ramu, Aggmeda Khyang, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park etc. Himchari is at the south part of the Cox’s Bazar city. In the Himchari you will see the natural lush tropical rainforest, plain grasslands. There are some natural waterfalls in the Himchari, one of these waterfalls flows down toward the sandy, sun-drenched beach. It is beautiful, really!!!
The Aggmeda Khyang is a large Buddhist monastery in the Cox’s Bazar. This place is admired by around 400,000 Buddhist. All of them are from Cox’s Bazar and the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The first Safari Park in Bangladesh known as Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park is also in the Cox’s Bazar. The natural beauty of this safari park is tropical evergreen.
4. Beautiful Bangladesh: Saint Martin Island.
Saint Martin is the mind-blowing coral Island of the Bay of Bengal. If you are a beach lover then Saint Martin is one of the best places to visit in Bangladesh. Not only for tourists but also for local people of Bangladesh Cox’s Bazar is most popular than other places of beautiful Bangladesh.
The beach is the perfect place for relaxing when you get tired of responsibilities and city life or after a long trip. When the local people come back to home this coral island becomes quiet, so you can enjoy the natural beauty easily by staying here in the night.

5. Beautiful Bangladesh: Rangamati.
Rangamati is one of the best hilly places to visit in Beautiful Bangladesh. Rangamati resides in the district of Chittagong Hill Tracts area. You can do tracking in the hills and enjoy the natural beauty. It is the home of tribal groups.
There are some handicraft markets where you can visit and can buy some handmade fabrics. The tribal groups made fine quality products or fabrics. In the Rangamati there is a Buddhist monastery ‘Rajban Bihar’, you can also visit the place.
6. Beautiful Bangladesh: Kaptai Lake.
The reason behind the travailing to Rangamati is to see the Kaptai Lake. Though Kaptai Lake is a manmade lake you will be surprised seeing the natural beauty of the place. This lake is surrounded by beautiful hills and full of blue water.
When you will climb up on the pick of the hill then you will be like ‘WooW’ by seeing the natural beauty around the place. You can enjoy boat riding on the Kaptai Lake as long as you want to ride. Kaptai Lake comes as number six on our list on the basis of its natural beauty.
7. Beautiful Bangladesh: Sylhet-Jaflong.
Sylhet is situated in the northwestern part of beautiful Bangladesh. It is on the best naturally beautiful places to visit in Bangladesh. There are too many wonderful places to visit in the Sylhet district. First of all, you can visit Jaflong. Jaflong is the stone collecting area. You will enjoy the natural beauty of Jaflong because of the combination of Surma River and large hills of the Meghalaya state of India. Sylhet is close to the Meghalaya state of India.
You will meet different types of tribal people in the Jaflong area with natural beauty. You can also visit Green water canal called Lalakhal, Ratargul swam forest and wonderful tea gardens here. In the Sylhet, you will also meet the Khasia Tribal people. They grow betel leaves in hilly areas or forest.
