This smoothie is a great way to get some nutritious figs into your diet, and change up your smoothie routine with something a bit out of the box. And since dried figs are available year round, you can stock up on them and reap the many benefits of this luscious fruit.
- 3 Dried Figs
- 1 Ripe Banana
- 2 tbsp Yogurt
- 1 cup Chilled Milk (use milk of your choice)
- 1 tsp Honey (optional)
If you have the time, soak the figs in water for half an hour before making the smoothie.
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust almond milk to desired consistency.
Top with a cashew nut and enjoy your delicious glass of creamy goodness!:)
