Thanks @angelacs ! yes.. the only way to travel is off the beaten track.
As a South African, it was difficult to let my guard down.. being amongst such humble people you realise how different your "normal" is to others..
Srix and her family do not have much.. but they seem much happier / content than most people I know.

That's how it often is, all over the world. It's like so many different realities squashed up against each other, almost on top, overlaying.
And yet the experiences, thought patterns, emotional interactions are so different, in quality and depth. The attitude to life and people almost worlds apart. Amazing.
