Baclayon Church in Bohol. The town of Baclayon is known for its Catholic church, which is the La Purisima Concepcion de la Virgen Maria. This church is one the oldest churches in the Philippines, with construction commencing in 1717, and it was finally completed in 1727.

In 2013, Baclayon Church was badly damaged by a magnitude 7.2 earthquake that hit Bohol. The church opened its doors to tourists who want to see the progress of its restoration.

Thanks to the help of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the Church of Immaculada Concepcion in Baclayon, Bohol is being restored.
