Good day fellow Amazing Steemians! As most of you know, I have initiated a charity project in coordination with @jasennessaj and in partnership with @steemph.cebu here in Cebu, Philippines known as the Awesome SMILE Project. This project focuses on bringing hope and love to the street children by providing them needs like clothing, slipper, and food.

A MILLION THANKS AIN’T ENOUGH

For the past two weeks, we have raised the funds needed to achieve the purpose of this work. And we have the following to thank for that:

@youarehope for donating 150 SBD to the Awesome SMILE Project. @youarehope is a global, worldwide mission outreach program founded by @SirCork. This program aims at providing basic human necessities such as water, food, clothing and other fundamental needs all around the world. You can see their amazing acts of kindness here.

@tarekadam for donating 50 Steem to the Awesome SMILE Project. @tarekadam have initiated a contest giving away 500 steem to 10 worthy projects helping out people in need. You can visit his blog here where the Awesome SMILE Project was chosen as one of the winners.

A Dollar A Day project by @pennsif, @aggroed, @cryptocurator, @gmuxx, @goldendawne, @mother2chicks, @nikolina, @redrica, & @steemcommunity witness for donating 15 SBD to the Awesome SMILE Project.

PREPARATIONS

The preparation was the most challenging yet fun part of all. I am happy to have @morken as my sidekick in realizing the purpose of this project.

We allotted another day to purchase the slippers, prizes, art materials and books. We headed then to my place to pack the goods together with @kayegrasya and @yellowmajesty. Without them, me and @morken wouldn’t be able to finish the activity in time. We had fun and I had the chance to personally get to know these two promising steemians @kayegrasya and @yellowmajesty.
