It is imperative to preserve marine life for the sake of ocean and planetary wellbeing. Water covers more than 70% of the Earth’s surface area and supports numerous ecosystems rich in flora and fauna. These efforts include the creation of marine protected areas, control of fishing activities, decreasing plastic products adoption, and encouraging the usage of organic seafood brands. In the same breath, protecting the oceans and marine life means protecting vital resources for humanity, including the oxygen cycle, climate regulation, and food supply. Engaging actively in conservation efforts can help achieve sustainable oceans for coming generations.
