Im back on steem after a long and tiring break!!!! ;/

I just returned home from completing an air traffic controller course and receiving my Aerodrome and approach diploma certificate at the 'Civil Aviation Training Center' in Trinidad and Tobago.

Now in my home country Anguilla, At Clayton J Lloyd Intl Airport, we are currently in the process of building a new Air Traffic Control Tower due to the old tower being destroyed by hurricane Irma and just fact that it was...old and in need of an upgrade.

The New building will also house the Fire fighters, Meteorological Workers, and Aeronautical Information Services Offices. Also in the works behind the scenes are plans to extend our runway which is currently 5462 feet to well over 6000 feet, as well as setting up an RNav (Area Navigation) approach to the runway.

These plans require certain features which are yet to be installed or even purchased.
A plan to rebuild the airport terminal is present but still to be initialized, the expansion of Clayton J Lloyd's airport is slow but sure, in an effort to attract more attention to the island, due to the fact the our main income on the 35 square foot island in Tourism. You should come and visit us one day, directed safely out of the skies by our new ATC tower. Then you can spend a day on one of our 35 beaches one of them having been ranked second best in the world a few years ago. See you guys soon,if not in Anguilla,right here on steemit.
